Reminiscing

Christina hated school…but now that she had Jessica it was a lot more bearable. A couple days after the dance, the homework was plentifully given. Christina worked hard against the temptation to go to the park.

There was a park down the street from her that was really beautiful. People her age considered it a traditional school year hangout. She only had one friend, so the park could be an opportunity to make some more. Sure, there was Lisa, but Christina barley even knew her. What she would give for a social life…

Christina had gotten down to her last bit of homework, and the most dreaded, Japanese Language. Kanji was just not her thing…she was going to have a big test on fifty newer symbols the next day. It was too complicated…how was she supposed to learn all of it in her lifetime? She copied symbols from her book for homework. Each stroke became increasingly dull. Her pen slipped out of her hand, and sleep had pulled her in.

There were several dreams, all of them strange…

Christina stood with Jessica and Lisa in the huge ballroom that she had seen in the last odd dream. With them also was the beautiful princess from before…Another woman who was dressed better than any other stood before them, smiling sweetly. Two men approached her from behind and she introduced them. The first one’s face was blurry, not even there, while the other, a year or two older than her, was very handsome.

The first man spoke, but the words were unclear. "This is…brother…ambassador…" Christina tried harder to hear. She replayed the voice in her head. Now she heard other words that she hadn’t before. "This is…brother…inherit…therefore…Insei-"

The room grew dark and the dream faded. Another one took its place.

Three shadowy girls stood together, speaking. This time, she heard clearly. The voices sounded odd, like none of a human. It was a small price to pay to hear the words.

"Under Nimiss, the destined sailor of fate, Sailor Destiny!"

"…Under Nanaki, the united sailor of peace, Sailor Unity!"

The girl in the middle looked straight forward. "And under the Moon, the tranquil sailor of love, Sailor Galaxy!" Christina’s head pounded. That was the Sailor Scout at the dance!

Once more, dreams clashed.

A beautiful woman stood in the clouds before a large gate. She held a long purple staff and looked like a Sailor Scout.

"Christina…Do not fear these dreams. I have sent them to you to teach you about your past…Soon, maybe sooner than I know, I can show you more accurately what your past was."

Christina’s sub-conscious voice chimed in. "Who are you?"

"You may call me the Guardian of Time. I am communicating also with another…you must speak with her to find out about yourself."

"Who?"

"…Her name is Lisa…I believe you have met. I must go, farewell…"

Christina awoke in a cold sweat. She glanced at the clock. 3 a.m. She was in her living room; she had drifted off in the middle of homework. The dreams confused her, but she decided it would be easier to think about them with a little more sleep on her. She went up to her bedroom and fell to sleep.
